Marsch confirms RB Leipzig interest in Maxence Lacroix

Wolfsburg recently made it clear that they want to keep Maxence Lacroix, but RB Leipzig don't seem to have ended their pursuit of the 21-year-old centre-back.
RB Leipzig coach Jesse Marsch has confirmed reports that 'Die Roten Bullen' are interested in VfL Wolfsburg centre-back Maxence Lacroix.

Wolfsburg chief Jörg Schmadtke recently ruled out a transfer for the Frenchman this summer.

Marsch, however, still seems very keen on acquiring Lacroix before the transfer window closes.

"He is a really good player. We have talked about him," admitted Marsch in an interview with Sky Germany.

"He would be a good player for RB Leipzig and could certainly help," added the Leipzig coach.

"Let's wait and see what happens."
