Thomas Müller wants to keep playing for Germany

Bayern München star Thomas Müller has declared himself ready to keep playing for the German national team.
Thomas Müller has followed Ilkay Gündogan in announcing his desire to keep playing for Germany under new coach Hansi Flick.

The 31-year-old's international future has been questioned after Germany crashed out of the Euros against England in the round of 16.

But, like Gündogan, Müller has now confirmed that he will be ready if Flick wants to include him in his squad.

"Of course, we have already talked on the phone, and we also have a good relationship in person. But we haven't spoken concretely about a possible call-up," said Müller, according to DPA.

"If he wants to call me up, I'll be ready. With everything else, we will have to see what happens in the future."

Müller was left out of the Germany squad for more than two years by now former coach Joachim Löw before he made his return to the national team set-up at the Euros.
