Eintracht Frankfurt have targeted Werder Bremen midfielder Kevin Möhwald, according to Deichstube.

Per the Bremen-based publication, Frankfurt see the 28-year-old as a possible replacement for their long-term injured captain, Sebastian Rode.

Currently, Möhwald is sidelined with an ankle injury that has kept him out of Werder's last two games.

He still has one year left on his contract with 'The Green-Whites'.
