Report: Halstenberg's move to Dortmund breaks down
WAZ claims that Marcel Halstenberg will not be joining Borussia Dortmund from RB Leipzig after all.
Marcel Halstenberg's proposed move from RB Leipzig to Borussia Dortmund has reportedly broken down.
Dortmund have been linked with the 29-year-old for the past weeks and months, and Leipziger Volkszweitung reported that week that the deal was expected to be completed before the end of the transfer window.
However, Halstenberg will not be moving to Signal Iduna Park after all, according to WAZ, who doesn't provide any information on why the deal is now off.
With the 29-year-old no longer on their radar, Dortmund could make a move for Inter wide man Valentino Lazaro instead.
