Report: Leverkusen close to signing Adli

According to Sky Germany's Max Bielefeld, Leverkusen have an agreement with Toulouse for the transfer of the young winger, who is negotiating terms with the factory club.
Merely days after Bayer Leverkusen managing director for sport Rudi Völler and head coach Gerardo Seoane's comments that an offensive signing could be on the way to the BayArena, Sky Germany reveal that Leverkusen are close to signing Amine Adli from FC Toulouse.

In the past few weeks, Adli (21) has been rumored to be a target for Bayern, who reportedly could not agree with Toulouse for a transfer. It seems that the player could be headed to Leverkusen instead, subject to him agreeing personal terms with the club.

According to Sport1 reporter Patrick Berger, the transfer fee is in the €15 million range (including add-ons), and Adli is negotiating a long-term contract with Bayer 04.

The Frenchman of Moroccan descent is an able dribbler and is tactically sound. He contributed with 8 goals and 7 assists for Toulouse in the French second division last season.

This move will fill the last major gap in Leverkusen's squad, compensating for Leon Bailey's departure to Aston Villa. Should he join, Adli would add even more excitement to the already oozing talent in the Werkself squad.
