Borussia Dortmund v. TSG Hoffenheim:

M: Giovanni Reyna, Midfielder (BVB, 12.5M, 16%) - Reyna has started the season off strong, racking up double digit Fantasy points in both games so far. Although he did not score last weekend, Reyna played well with five chances created in their 2-1 loss to Freiburg. Dortmund and Hoffenheim are usually a high scoring affair with nine goals split between them in their last three league meetings.

D: Angelo Stiller, Midfielder (TSG, 3.3M, 1%) - Stiller has started and played 90 minutes in both of Hoffenheim’s games to start the season, grabbing an assist against Union last matchday. After spending the last few seasons in the 3.Liga with Bayern Amateur, Stiller has made the transition look seamless and should continue to see plenty of minutes in the midfield.

VfB Stuttgart v. Sport-Club Freiburg:

M: Vincenzo Grifo, Midfielder (SCF, 12.4M, 4%) - Grifo was back to the scintillating form he showed last season, scoring an amazing free-kick in Freiburg’s upset win over Dortmund last weekend. One of the best Fantasy players last year, Grifo has a strong chance to be the top scoring midfield player for this season. His monopoly on set pieces never hurts either.

D: Hamadi Al Ghaddioui, Forward (VFB, 4M, 1%) - With news that Sasa Kalajdzic is undergoing shoulder surgery, Al Ghaddioui will be starting for the foreseeable future as he is pretty much the last healthy striker Stuttgart has left available. He did score in the first match of the season and should figure to take advantage of the opportunity of regular playing time.

1. FC Köln v. VfL Bochum 1848:

M: Anthony Modeste, Forward (KOE, 6.5M, 2%) - Modeste has easily been one of the bright spots of the new campaign, scoring again to make it two goals in two games for the Frenchman. With a modest price and great matchup, Modeste is the must-have of the week.

D: Ondrej Duda, Midfielder (KOE, 9M, 1%) - Duda has started on the bench the last two matches, still resting after a grueling Euros for Slovakia over the summer. If ready to go for the weekend, Duda will be heavily involved in the attack starting as the ten or out on the wing.

1. FSV Mainz 05 v. SpVgg Greuther Fürth:

M: Aaron Martin, Defender (M05, 3.1M, 3%) - One of the better crossers in the league, Martin has excelled from the left flank so far this season and sent in an impressive 12 crosses last matchday against Bochum. Three shots taken were encouraging to see as well.

D: Silvan Widmer, Defender (M05, 7.1M, 1%) - Widmer has done a decent job opposite of his teammate Martin, pushing high up the field on the flank and getting into the attack. Widmer and Martin will both have a major say in the outcome of the game against Fürth and will be hoping for the clean sheet bonus like they achieved in matchday one.

FC Augsburg v. Bayer 04 Leverkusen:

M: Florian Wirtz, Midfielder (B04, 10.9M, 10%) - Subbed on in the final 10 minutes of the last matchday, Wirtz assisted on Amiri’s goal and showed that there would be no doubt he would continue where he left off from last season. After missing the first matchday, Wirtz should be back in the starting lineup as he prepares for a surely phenomenal season.

D: Iago, Defender (FCA, 7.1M, 0%) - Iago can be a dangerous player down the flank and has shown glimpses of what he is capable of in the attack. Eight points in Won Duels over the two matchdays is a sign of strong defending as well.

DSC Arminia Bielefeld v. Eintracht Frankfurt:

M: Rafeal Borre, Forward (SGE, 7.3M, 2%) - Borre is starting to show signs of being someone capable of filling the shoes left behind by Andre Silva. Nine shots with three on goal in the last two games is a start and if a few of them can start hitting the back of the net, Frankfurt’s fortunes could turn around.

D: Jens Petter Hauge, Midfielder (SGE, 11.1M, 1%) - Hauge has one goal on five shots in his first two games after joining from AC Milan over the summer. Seven Fantasy points in each of those games is also a strong start Fantasy wise and he should continue to at least provide some value in an otherwise underperforming midfield class so far.

FC Bayern München v. Hertha BSC:

M: Serge Gnabry, Forward (FCB,14.4M, 4%) - Gnabry is the player in form at the moment at Bayern so ride him while he is hot. He will certainly be striving to improve from his subpar season last year and a brace last matchday is a good start.

D: Davie Selke, Forward (BSC, 5.8M, 0%) - Selke should get the start up top for Hertha and Bayern have been letting in goals frequently so there is a good chance Selke could finally get on the score sheet for the first time in forever.

1. FC Union Berlin v. Borussia Mönchengladbach:

M: Max Kruse, Forward (FCU, 11.3M, 2%) - Kruse has been influential as always, grabbing an assist in Union’s first match and taking two shots with four chances created in their last match. Gladbach’s defense failed and let in four against Leverkusen last weekend. They may be on their heels again for most of the match with Union’s dynamic duo of Kruse and Awoniyi both playing well.

D: Jonas Hofmann, Midfielder (BMG, 12.1M, 1%) - In his first start of the year, Hofmann had one of the few positive performances for Gladbach against Leverkusen. Three shots taken and two chances created show progress for the midfielder who has been dealing with a knee injury for the last few months.

VfL Wolfsburg v. RB Leipzig

M: Maxence Lacroix, Defender (WOB, 11.3M, 13%) - A battle between two of the heavyweights of the league, we could find ourselves with a defensive battle and a nil-nil draw. Both teams' defenses have stellar individual players and none of them are quite as good as Lacroix.

D: Josko Gvardiol, Defender (RBL, 9.3M, 2%) - Gvardiol filled in at left back and played the full 90 in Leipzig’s 4-0 win over Stuttgart last weekend. He scored 15 Fantasy points in his first game and scored six in Won Duels alone.
