Following reports that Bayern München have agreed personal terms with Jonas Hofmann, it now appears that he is not the only Gladbach player the German champions have concrete interest in.
According to Sky Germany, Bayern are in talks to sign Matthias Ginter before the transfer window slams shut.
Should Bayern fail to agree on a transfer fee with 'Die Fohlen', the 27-year-old centre-back could make the switch to Allianz Arena as a free agent in 2022, at which point his contract expires.
Ginter joined Gladbach from Borussia Dortmund in 2017. He has made a total of 151 appearances for 'Die Fohlen', scoring 10 goals and making five assists.
