Gladbach boss comments on Bayern's reported interest in Hofmann and Ginter

Gladbach boss Max Eberl has played down suggestions that Bayern München have concrete interest in Jonas Hofmann and Matthias Ginter.
Borussia Mönchengladbach sporting director Max Eberl has responded to reports that Bayern München have targeted Jonas Hofmann and Matthias Ginter.

Speaking to reporters on Friday, Eberl admitted that he is in regular contact with Bayern München board member for sport Hasan Salihamidzic, also known as 'Brazzo', but denied that the Bavarians have shown serious interest in any of Gladbach's players.

"I read the rumors every day, and there's a lot of uncertainty there. But nothing has changed for any of our players," said Eberl.

"I talk to 'Brazzo' on the phone very often, but we haven't discussed anything concrete. There is no concrete offer for any of our players. Therefore, I don't think much will change still."

The transfer window closes at the end of the month.
