Bielefeld take Mainz midfielder on loan
Arminia Bielefeld have brought in Edimilson Fernandes on loan from Mainz.
Edimilson Fernandes has left Mainz to join Arminia Bielefeld on a season-long loan deal with an option to buy.
"With Edimilson, we have brought in a player for our midfield, who already has Bundesliga experience and who will make our team stronger with his athletic and physical qualities," said Bielefeld managing director for sport Samir Arabi.
The 25-year-old defensive midfielder said:
