Thilo Kehrer reveals his best position
Thilo Kehrer has opened up on his preferred position.
Germany and Paris Saint-Germain defender Thilo Kehrer believes he's best suited for the centre-back position, but is comfortable with playing on the right side of defense, too.
"I can play both positions and am also flexible in terms of the formation," said Kehrer in an interview with Kicker when asked about his preferred position.
"I can operate on the right in a back four as well as on the right in a 3-4-3. But in the medium term, I think my strengths are best suited to playing in the central defense."
After being left out of Germany's squad for the Euros by Joachim Löw, the 24-year-old has been brought back by new coach Hansi Flick.
