Milan push for Xhaka deal with Leverkusen after settling personal terms

Having agreed personal terms with Granit Xhaka, AC Milan are hoping to find an agreement with Bayer Leverkusen on a transfer fee next week.

After reports emerged that AC Milan have agreed personal terms with Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Granit Xhaka, the Serie A club are now preparing to take the next step in their pursuit of the Swiss international.

According to Calciomercato, Milan are hopeful of reaching a full agreement with Leverkusen next week. 

The Rossoneri are reportedly planning to submit an opening offer of €10 million for the 32-year-old, who has played a key role for Leverkusen in the last two seasons. 

Xhaka remains under contract with Leverkusen until 2028.
