Pavlovic and Führich questionable for Monday after sustaining injuries in Friday win
Two non-starters from Germany's 2024/25 UEFA Nations League win last night remain questionable for the German national team's encounter against Holland on Monday. Young Bayern midfield phenom Aleksandar Pavlovic injured his knee in warm-ups and was not available to work as a sub in the Friday night fixture. Stuttgart's Chris Führich suffered a suspected torn adductor muscle during his eight-minute-long relief shift.
With the German national team working on a tight turnaround during the current international beak, it's safe to assume that neither Pavlovic nor Führich will be available for Monday's encounter. Whether or not the two club players can recover in time to face one another in the Bundesliga remains to be seen. The German record champions host the 2023/24 surprise Swabians in next Saturday evening's "Top-Spiel".
Pavlovic has featured in eight of FCB trainer Vincent Kompany's nine starting XIs in competitive fixtures this year, only missing out on the match-day three win over Kiel. The 20-year-old has scored once and garnered two assists in those appearances across all competitions. Führich lost his starting spot to fellow DFB call up Jamie Leweling after match-day two, but has still appeared in all nine VfB competitive fixtures.
