Prömel mentioned as an alternative to Gross for Eintracht

Bild reports that Eintracht Frankfurt could turn their attention to Grischa Prömel after missing out on Pascal Gross.

For a long time, Eintracht Frankfurt looked to be in pole position to sign Brighton & Hove Albion's Pascal Gross, but according to several reports, the veteran midfielder has opted to join Borussia Dortmund instead.

Therefore, if Eintracht want to strengthen their central midfield, they will have to look for an alternative, and Bild mentions Hoffenheim's Grischa Prömel as one.

The 29-year-old is tied to Hoffenheim until 2026 and has an estimated market value of 6 million, so he's in the same price category as Gross.

Prömel scored four goals and provided five assists in 28 games for Hoffenheim last season.

He joined the club from Union Berlin on a free transfer in the summer of 2022.
