Neuer recovery on track

Bayern captain Manuel Neuer's injury recovery is on track.
Manuel Neuer is making progress in his recovery from knee surgery.

The 35-year-old Bayern goalkeeper has resumed running training at the beginning of this week, according to Bild, who claims he will remain unavailable for two to four weeks.

Sport1, meanwhile, reports that Neuer is expected to join team training in the next 10 days.

Im any case, Saturday's Bundesliga clash with Eintracht Frankfurt comes too soon for the veteran, with Sven Ulreich set to deputize for him again.

Kingsley Coman and Jamal Musiala, by contrast, are likely to be back in contention for the Frankfurt game.
