BBBank Wildpark will be the venue for the in-form Greuther Fürth side on matchday 27 in 2. Bundesliga. The visitors picked up seven points from their last three games, while Karlsruhe suffered a heavy defeat at Kaiserslautern a week after failing to hold a 3-1 lead at home against Dynamo Dresden.

However, the hosts are in a favorable position in the table as they sit in eighth place with 34 points. Fürth’s resurgence under Heiko Vogel saw them go three points clear of 16th-placed Preußen Münster.

Marvin Wanitzek’s first brace of the season helped Christian Eichner’s side to a 4-1 win away at Fürth in the reverse fixture. Karlsruhe’s captain scored his fourth brace in their last home game against Dresden.

Karlsruhe are unbeaten at home in this fixture since a 5-1 reverse back in 2019. They won each of the last four meetings by scoring three goals per game on average. Last week’s 2-0 victory over promotion hopefuls Elversberg secured Fürth’s first back-to-back wins of the season.
