Borussia Dortmund forward Karim Adeyemi has agreed personal terms on a long-term contract with FC Barcelona, according to Sky Germany and transfer insider Gerard Romero.

The two clubs are now in direct negotiations over a transfer fee, but no agreement has been reached yet.

Dortmund and Adeyemi have been in talks over a potential contract extension beyond 2027 for months, but have so far been unable to reach an agreement, with a summer departure now looking increasingly likely.

Interestingly, Adeyemi's agent, Jorge Mendes, also represents Barcelona star Lamine Yamal.

The Munich-born forward joined Dortmund from RB Salzburg in the summer of 2022 and has scored 36 goals in 146 competitive appearances for the club.

Adeyemi, 24, has made 11 appearances for Germany, but was left out of the squad for this summer's World Cup.
