Currently lacking a natural alternative to Luis Díaz on the left wing, Bayern Munich are reportedly considering a move for a young winger who could provide backup and competition for the Colombian international ahead of next summer.
According to Bild's Bayern Insider podcast, the German champions have four young wingers on their radar: Oskar Pietuszewski (FC Porto), Rio Ngumoha (Liverpool), Antonio Nusa (RB Leipzig) and Wael Mohya (Borussia Mönchengladbach).
Pietuszewski, an 18-year-old Polish winger, is reportedly at the top of Bayern's shortlist after impressing the club's scouting department in recent months. The youngster, who only joined Porto from Polish side Jagiellonia Białystok in January, is understood to have a €60 million release clause in his contract.
As for Ngumoha, Bayern were already showing interest in the Liverpool youngster last summer and were reportedly prepared to offer €72 million for the 18-year-old. However, the Reds were unwilling to let him leave at the time. With Ngumoha under contract until 2028, the situation could potentially change next summer.
Bayern board member for sport Max Eberl is said to be a particularly big admirer of Antonio Nusa. However, a move for the 21-year-old RB Leipzig star would also be expensive, potentially costing even more than either of the two aforementioned youngsters.
Finally, 17-year-old Wael Mohya, who recently received his first senior Germany call-up, is also reportedly on Bayern's radar. The Bavarians have apparently been in contact with the youngster's representatives for some time.
With Díaz currently sidelined, Alphonso Davies has recently filled in on the left wing for Bayern, while Nathaniel Brown could be deployed there against Mainz this weekend if the Canada international is deemed in need of a rest.
