Bayern Munich are preparing to secure the long-term future of Tim Binder.
The 19-year-old attacking talent is set to sign a new professional contract with Bayern running until 2030, according to multiple outlets. Binder impressed during the club's pre-season campaign and earned the trust of head coach Vincent Kompany and sporting director Christoph Freund.
His performances also attracted interest from several clubs in the 2. Bundesliga, who were reportedly keen to bring Binder in on loan. However, Bayern have convinced the youngster to remain in Munich for the time being by presenting him with a clear pathway towards the first team.
Binder, who primarily operates as a right winger, has been part of Bayern's youth setup since 2024 and made the step up to the club's second team after impressing at youth level.
The teenager's development was briefly interrupted earlier this month when he suffered a muscle injury in his right thigh. He has not been given a precise recovery timeframe.
For now, Bayern are backing Binder's potential and have decided against an immediate loan move. His situation could be reassessed in January if he does not receive enough first-team opportunities during the first half of the season.
