Bayern Munich could be facing an early injury concern after new summer signing Ismael Saibari was forced off during Morocco's World Cup Round of 16 encounter with Canada.
The attacking midfielder, who has been one of Morocco's standout performers at the tournament with three goals, went down in the 22nd minute without any contact from an opposing player. Clearly in pain, Saibari immediately signalled that he could not continue and was substituted by Soufiane Rahimi.
The injury appeared to affect Saibari's thigh, although the exact nature and severity of the problem remain unknown. Medical assessments are expected to determine whether the 25-year-old has suffered a significant setback.
