FC Bayern president Herbert Hainer advised Florentino Pérez to shift his attention elsewhere as he ruled out the departure of Michael Olise. The Frenchman has been in the headlines this week as he found himself at the center of Real Madrid’s presidential election campaign.

“If Florentino Pérez wants to send us a bid for Olise, which has not happened so far, he can save himself the trouble,” Hainer told Bild on Sunday. “He is a player of FC Bayern with a long-term contract. And, we are not a selling club.”

Despite Pérez’s confirmation that Real Madrid’s upcoming mega bid wasn’t for Olise, Fabrizio Romano stressed the record Champions League winners are preparing an offer for the Bundesliga’s Best Player of the Season. The 24-year-old winger will be playing in his first major tournament this summer.
