As confirmed by the club, El Chadaille Bitshiabu has left RB Leipzig on loan to join Turkish side Galatasaray.

The move for the 21-year-old also includes a purchase option reportedly worth around €25-30 million.

Bitshiabu joined Leipzig from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2023 with high hopes. The Saxony-based club paid a reported €15 million in base transfer fees for the highly rated central defender.

A knee injury sidelined him at the start of the 2023/24 season, restricting the then-18-year-old to just six Bundesliga appearances. His role became significantly more important the following campaign, as he made 21 league appearances, starting 13 of them.

Bitshiabu made 11 Bundesliga appearances during the 2025/26 season, starting eight, but has now opted for a temporary move to Galatasaray in search of more regular playing time.
