Michael Olise has extended his record as the Bundesliga’s most valuable player, with Transfermarkt’s October update resulting in a €10 million increase to €180 million in total for the Bayern Munich star.
“Michael Olise is continuing to extend his lead at the top of the market-value rankings,” said market-value coordinator Tobias Kröger.
“The Frenchman is delivering world-class performances week after week and repeatedly proving that he is among the best and most valuable players in the world. Only Lamine Yamal, Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappé are now valued higher worldwide.”
This leaves Olise as by far the most valuable player in the Bundesliga, ahead of teammates Aleksandar Pavlovic (€90m) and Jamal Musiala (€80m). The latter has suffered the biggest drop in the league, losing €20 million in market value.
“Unfortunately, Jamal Musiala is feeling the effects of the past months. Due to various health problems and the resulting fluctuations in his performances, the Germany international’s market value has fallen to €80 million,” explained Tobias Kröger.
“We continue to see occasional outstanding performances that underline his exceptional talent, but ultimately his lack of consistency and his overall situation at the moment are preventing him from remaining in the €100 million range.”
