With Leroy Sané's departure for Galatasaray confirmed weeks ago, Bayern Munich are on a desperate search for a winger.

Ruhr Nachrichten journalist Jürgen Koers believes the Bavarians could be tempted to swoop for ex-Dortmund man Jadon Sancho.

"All BVB fans must be strong now: I can very well imagine that FC Bayern will try everything to get Jadon Sancho," he explained in the RN podcast.

Koers then pointed to Sancho's Bundesliga experience, game intelligence, and his current market value as further incentives.

“He's comparatively cheap, has to go elsewhere, and knows the league. From Bayern's perspective, that's relatively simple," he added.

Although Bayern has already has Michael Olise as a new signing for the right wing, Sancho could take over the vacant left flank.

Those in charge at Säbener Straße are under pressure: “Bayern have to present someone now – and they've already tried to get Sancho on several occasions in the past," he explained.

However, Italian media reports that Juventus is in talks with Sancho with a Douglas Luiz swap deal being discussed.
