Antonio Rüdiger struggled with a thigh problem in Germany's 1-1 draw with Switzerland on Sunday.

Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann confirmed this after the game, and now the German Football Association (DFB) has provided an update on the centre-back.

In a brief statement, the DFB said that Rüdiger "pulled a muscle in the back of his right thigh during the group game against Switzerland".

"A consultation and further regeneration are planned for this afternoon.

Germany continue their Euro 2024 campaign with a last-16 tie on Saturday. It's already been confirmed that Rüdiger's centre-back partner Jonathan Tah will miss the game through suspension.
