Kaua Santos has made the most of his chances in goal for Eintracht Frankfurt while captain Kevin Trapp has been out injured.

Most recently, the Brazilian goalkeeper produced a string of impressive saves to help his side to a 3-3 draw with Bayern Munich.

However, with Trapp returning to full fitness, Eintracht sporting director Timmo Hardung has confirmed that Kaua Santos will return to the bench.

"We have a very clear number one, our captain. We're very happy that he's back," Hardung told the German media on Tuesday.

“He will now have two good weeks of training and then he will be in goal against Leverkusen.”
