Five years after leaving Borussia Dortmund to join Manchester United for a reported €85 million fee, Jadon Sancho is a free agent.

On Wednesday, Manchester United named the 26-year-old on a list of players who will leave the club this summer.

Sancho returned to Dortmund on loan for the second half of the 2023/24 season, and there has been consistent speculation that the winger could head back to Signal Iduna Park for a third spell.

Time will tell whether that will actually happen, but it's now a fact that Sancho is available as a free agent.

The 26-year-old scored 53 goals and provided 57 assists in 158 games for BVB in the past.

He spent the 2025/26 season on loan at Aston Villa, winning the Europa League in the process.
