It was reported that the release clause in Chris Führich's contract with Stuttgart would expire on June 30.

However, as a result of Germany's 2-0 win over Denmark in the round of 16, the clause has been extended, according to Sky Germany.

The report claims that the clause will remain active as long as Germany are in the running for the European Championship title.

According to Sky Germany, the clause is set at 20 million for German clubs and 23-25 million for clubs from Italy and the Premier Leauge.

With Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund reportedly out of the race, it's doubtful that any club will trigger the clause before the end of the Euros.
