Bayer Leverkusen star Alex Grimaldo has reportedly agreed to join Beşiktaş at the end of the season.
Writing for the Swiss edition of Sky, Belgian transfer journalist Sacha Tavolieri claims that the 30-year-old left-back recently met with representatives from the Turkish club, which led to a full agreement on personal terms.
However, an agreement still needs to be reached with Leverkusen, who are said to be demanding around €20 million to allow the Spaniard to leave.
Grimaldo has been an important player for Die Werkself since joining from Benfica in the summer of 2023.
The 30-year-old, who is under contract until 2027, has made a total of 140 appearances for the German club, scoring 30 goals and providing 44 assists.
