Hertha close in on loan signing from Burnley

Hertha BSC are tipped to complete the loan signing of Oluwaseun Adewumi from Burnley.

Kicker reported Hertha BSC are finalizing a loan deal from Burnley for attacking midfielder Oluwaseun Adewumi. The 21-year-old spent last season on loan at Belgian Pro League club Cercle Brugge.

With his Burnley contract running until 2028, the Austria U21 international is yet to play for the current Championship club. He scored six goals in 33 appearances in all competitions for Cercle Brugge during the 2025/26 season.

Adewumi also spent the 2024/25 season on loan at Scottish Premiership club Dundee FC. The Nigerian-born player has already racked up 12 games for the Austria U21 national team.
