In the wake of their 6-3 comeback win against VfL Wolfsburg this afternoon, Kasper Hjulmand shared his thoughts on Bayer Leverkusen's performance.

“We are, of course, very happy with these three points,” the Rhineland club's head coach said in the mixed room at full-time.

"To start with the negatives: In a game where we controlled so much of the game, we shouldn't have conceded three goals.

"But we showed good character and played good attacking football. We made some changes at half-time.

“After the break, we were able to create many great chances. Even though we have some things to improve, three points and six goals are obviously very positive,” he added.

The win brings Leverkusen back to within four points of the Champions League places, but they face a tricky trip to Borussia Dortmund next Saturday.
