Hoffenheim confirm Tabakovic departure

Haris Tabakovic has officially left TSG Hoffenheim to join RB Salzburg.

The 32-year-old forward joined Hoffenheim in 2024 and spent last season on loan at Borussia Mönchengladbach, where he impressed with 13 goals in 32 appearances.

“The loan spell at Borussia was a success for everyone involved. Haris proved his qualities as a centre-forward there,” said Hoffenheim sporting director Paul Pajduch. 

“Haris is an outstanding character and I would like to sincerely thank him for his time at TSG. However, due to an economically attractive overall package, we have jointly decided with Haris to proceed with a transfer. We wish Haris all the very best for his future.”

Tabakovic made a total of 29 appearances for Hoffenheim, scoring four goals.
