TSG Hoffenheim have announced that Leon Avdullahu has signed a new deal.
The Swiss midfielder, who joined Hoffenheim last summer, has penned a new long-term contract, with the club not disclosing the exact length of the agreement.
“Leon is a prime example of how the development of a young player at TSG can look. I am very happy that he wants to continue his successful path here with us and that the team is keeping one of its defining figures,” said Hoffenheim managing director for sport Andreas Schicker.
“Leon can read the game, he is a strategist, and with his vision he is of enormous importance to our style of play.”
Avdullahu said:
“When I came here in the summer, I said I was incredibly proud to be part of this team and TSG. That is even more true today.
“Everything that was discussed at the time has been confirmed. I want to remain an important part of this development and continue contributing to the success of the team and the club.”
So far, the 22-year-old has made 31 appearances for the Bundesliga outfit.
