HSV's Grønbaek suffers thigh injury whilst on Denmark duty

Hamburger SV has officially confirmed that Albert Grønbaek has to leave the Danish national team setup prematurely.
The 25-year-old suffered a torn muscle fiber in his right thigh during the 2-3 loss to Norway in the UEFA Nations League last Thursday.
This was revealed by thorough MRI examinations conducted with the national team, in consultation with HSV's medical staff.
Grönbaek was a 82nd-minute substitute for his tenth international cap, but left the pitch after the final whistle with his thigh bandaged.
He was originally scheduled to play three more matches; twice against Wales and another being a tricky test against Portugal.
The news comes as a blow to HSV, having produced two goals in the DFB-Pokal match in Verl and two assists in the 2-1 win over 1.FC Köln.
