HSV continue their recruitment for the new season with the imminent transfer of French-Moroccan midfielder Bilal Nadir. The 22-year-old was a free agent following his refusal to extend his contract at Olympique de Marseille.

According to several outlets, including Kicker and Bild, the midfielder successfully passed his medical check on Thursday. His contract at the traditional club is expected to run until 2030 as he will join HSV’s training on Friday.

The Nice-born central midfielder has played 40 Ligue 1 games since joining Marseille from OGC Nice in 2021. Hamburg are still hoping to find a breakthrough in their negotiations with Arsenal for the signing of Fabio Vieira.
