FC Kaiserslautern have officially released Faride Alidou from his contract, thus enabling his transfer to Holstein Kiel.

The Storks have signed the 24-year-old to a one-year contract until 2027 with an option to extend for a further year.

Alidou spent half of last season on loan at Eintracht Braunschweig, where he played 9 games in the 2.Bundesliga, scoring twice.

Now, the former German U-21 international is permanently leaving the Red Devils in favour of the Northern Germany outfit.

The Hamburg native, valued at €800,000 by Transfermarkt.com, has played 55 games in Germany's second division for three clubs.
