The 21-year-old midfielder could give the Storks a big boost in the middle third if the deal can be pulled off.

TSG Hoffenheim's Umut Tohumcu is on the verge of completing a loan move to Holstein Kiel, Sky Germany understands.

Transfer journalist Florian Plettenberg has recently confirmed that advanced negotiations are already underway.

So far this campaign, the central midfield has struggled to force his way into Ilzer's plans and has featured for just 216 minutes.

Furthermore, fierce competition from Grisha Prömel, Leon Avdullahu and Wouter Burger has largely redused to substitute appearances.

At Kiel, Tohmucu is expected to get more game time. The 21-year-old remains under contract with Hoffenheim until 2028.

It is unlikely that the 2. Bundesliga outfit will be able to purchase the German next summer given Hoffenheim rate him highly.
