Fulham are said to be showing concrete interest in the Malik Tillman, with the Daily Mail reporting that the Premier League side are weighing up a potential summer approach. The London club are believed to be considering a move before the World Cup, wary that a strong showing from the US international could further inflate his market value.

Tillman has emerged as a possible successor to Harry Wilson, whose contract situation remains unresolved. The Welshman has also been linked with the likes of Everton, Aston Villa and Crystal Palace, prompting Fulham to assess alternative options.

Leverkusen signed Tillman from PSV Eindhoven for €35 million last summer, tying him down to a contract until 2030. Since then, the attacking midfielder has made 36 appearances, registering eight goals and one assist.

However, with competition for places intensifying in Kasper Hjulmand’s side, the 23-year-old has not always been a guaranteed starter - a factor that could make a potential summer move more plausible.
