Bayer Leverkusen centre-back Edmond Tapsoba continues to attract interest from the Premier League, according to transfer journalist Ekrem Konur.
Writing for German outlet Fussballdaten, Konur reports that Manchester United, Newcastle United and Tottenham are all maintaining close contact with the 27-year-old centre-back’s representatives.
While Leverkusen would prefer to keep the player, a fee of €50 million would reportedly convince them to open negotiations.
Tapsoba only signed a long-term contract extension with Leverkusen until 2031 at the end of April, leaving Die Werkself in a strong negotiating position.
The Burkina Faso international joined Leverkusen from Portuguese side Vitória Guimarães for around €20 million in January 2020.
