According to sources at BILD, Bayer Leverkusen’s Jonas Hofmann has received a new offer from Saudi Arabia.
Al Shabab has reportedly made the 34-year-old a “concrete, lucrative offer” in a bid to sign the 23-time German international.
Meanwhile, Leverkusen has already indicated to Hofmann that he has little chance of playing time in the new Bundesliga season.
The fact that the attacking player is being linked with a transfer is logical, however, he has rejected all previous inquiries.
Fellow German topflight outfit SV Werder Bremen were interested Hofmann this summer, but we're promptly turned down.
The report does not reveal how Hofmann feels about Al Shabab's offer. The Heidelberg native's contract in Leverkusen expires next year.
