Germany opened their Nations League campaign with a 1-1 draw in Amsterdam against the Netherlands. Felix Nmecha opened the scoring in the thirty-second minute, but Germany were denied of all three points through an acrobatic Cody Gakpo equaliser in the second minute of second half stoppage time.
As for Greece, they currently lead the group, having taken all three points in dramatic fashion against the Serbia in Belgrade this past Thursday. Andrija Živković scored the opening goal for the Serbs in the fourth minute, but Serbia-born coach Ivan Jovanović was able to turn things around for the Ethniki as time went on - with Christos Tzolis and substitute Anastasios Douvikas scoring in the last 20 minutes.
