Mario Götze set to sign new Eintracht Frankfurt contract

Eintracht Frankfurt are set to announce a contract extension for Mario Götze, according to Sky Germany.

The German media outlet reports that the two parties have agreed on an extension of the veteran midfielder’s expiring deal, which will keep him at the club until 2027.

Die Adler are expected to officially announce the new contract in the coming days.

Götze, 33, joined Frankfurt from PSV Eindhoven in the summer of 2022.

Since then, the German World Cup winner has made 148 appearances for the club, scoring 12 goals and providing 18 assists.
