Manuel Neuer has taken a step forward in his recovery from the calf strain he suffered earlier this month.

The 38-year-old was able to complete a few laps at the Säbener Straße training ground on Friday.

According to Bild, the Bayern captain hopes to return to action against St. Pauli after the international break.

In any case, he will be available for Bayern's Champions League quarter-final first leg against Inter on 8 April.

For the time being, Jonas Urbig will continue to deputise for Neuer.
