Fantasy Bundesliga:
10 players to consider for Matchday 8

By Rune Gjerulff   @runegjerulff

Here are 10 players you should consider bringing into your Fantasy Bundesliga team for Matchday 8.
Filip Kostic.

In this Fantasy Bundesliga article, we will not be focusing on the most obvious picks such as Erling Haaland and Robert Lewandowski.

Instead, we will highlight players with a maximum ownership percentage of 15%, who could offer great value as differentials for Matchday 8.

You should be aware that you will be able to make as many transfers as you like ahead of Matchday 8.

It's also worth nothing that the next unlimited transfers period will be between the 8th and 19th of November, meaning you only have to plan ahead to Matchday 11 when picking your squad this time.

Marius Funk, Greuther Fürth (Goalkeeper, 1.3M)
Funk was handed his first start of the season in last week's 1-3 defeat at the hands of FC Köln, replacing Sascha Burchert, and is set to keep his place in goal. Considering he costs just 1.3 million, it makes sense to pick Funk as one of your two goalkeepers. As the table below shows, if you bring in Funk along with Augsburg's Rafal Gikiewicz, you you will own two goalkeepers with different kick-off times every week until the next international break.

Joe Scally, Gladbach (Defender, 2.5M)
Scally offers incredible value for money, and Gladbach's favorable fixtures certainly don't make him any less attractive.

Nico Schulz, Dortmund (Defender, 5.6M)
Available for just 5.6 million, Schulz offers a cheap route into the Dortmund defense as he looks set to get the nod at left-back with Raphael Guerreiro out injured.

Martin Hinteregger, Frankfurt (Defender, 11.5M)
After their impressive 2-1 victory over Bayern München on Matchday 7, Frankfurt arguably have one of the easiest schedules before the next international break. Hinteregger looks like one of the best options from Oliver Glasner's side because he's nailed on to start, a threat from set pieces and capable of amassing points through won duels as well.

Angelino, RB Leipzig (Defender, 14.1M)
Having racked up 28 points in his last two games, Angelino seems to be regaining the form that made his a must-have player in previous seasons.

Timothy Tillman, Greuther Fürth (Midfielder, 2.5M)
Having lost their last five games, 'Die Kleeblätter' will be aiming to end their bad run of form when they face fellow struggles VfL Bochum at home. Tillman has provided an assist in each of his last two games for Fürth, playing as an attacking midfielder, and costs just 2.5 million.

Jonas Hofmann, Gladbach (Midfielder, 13.1M)
Gladbach are in great form, coming off wins over Dortmund and Wolfsburg, and are now about to embark on a very favorable run of fixtures. Jonas Hofmann has been their top Fantasy Bundesliga asset so far, scoring 55 points.

Filip Kostic, Frankfurt (Midfielder, 15.2M)
With the form Kostic showed before the international break, he is very hard to overlook at the moment. After picking up 17 points against Bayern München on Matchday 7, the Serbian winger will come up against struggling Hertha BSC and VfL Bochum in his next two games.

Omar Marmoush, Stuttgart (Striker, 3.8M)
Marmoush has been a consistent source of points after his loan switch from Wolfsburg, picking up nine points per game on average for Stuttgart so far. Stuttgart have a tough match-up against Gladbach coming up, but their fixtures after this week are decent.

Breel Embolo, Gladbach (Striker, 10.3M)
Embolo was the highest-scoring striker on Matchday 7 with 19 points to his name, and the striker carried his excellent form into the international break, racking up a total of two goals and two assists for Switzerland against Northern Ireland and Lithuania. With games against Stuttgart, Hertha and Bochum coming up, Embolo is a very intriguing option up front.
