Bellingham declares his love for Dortmund

Jude Bellingham has opened up on his affection for Borussia Dortmund.
Jude Bellingham has been linked with a host of European top clubs, but the 18-year-old wonderkid doesn't seem interested in leaving Borussia Dortmund anytime soon.

"I've never been part of a team that suits me so well," Bellingham said in the documentary "JB22 – Dortmund's high flyer".

"It feels so good," added Bellingham, describing the experience of playing in front of Dortmund's home fans.

"There is no better club in the world when it comes to bringing out young players and developing them for the next level. I want to develop here and give something back by winning titles and games.

"Dortmund is the perfect place to learn your craft and learn about the game."

Bellingham joined Borussia Dortmund from Birmingham City a year and a half ago. At the time, he was doubting whether the deal would collapse due to the financial implications of the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Of course there were doubts. Who spends 25 million euros on a child in the time of Corona?"

Since making his debut for Dortmund in September 2020, Bellingham has emerged as a key player for 'Die Schwarzgelben' at the age of 18.

The young midfielder made his first appearance for the English senior national team in November last year, and playing for his country has helped him become a better player.

"It gave me so much confidence. I felt like a better, smarter, stronger and technically superior player. I think I improved in all areas, also thanks to the Euros," said Bellingham.

Bellingham's contract with Dortmund expires in 2025.
