Schick dismisses speculation over Leverkusen future

Bayer Leverkusen forward Patrik Schick has played down reports linking him with a move away from BayArena.
Patrik Schick has insisted he is not interested in a move away from Bayer Leverkusen at the moment.

Borussia Dortmund, among others, are said to be keeping an eye on Schick, but the international says leaving Leverkusen hasn't crossed his mind.

"Of course it's nice to read when you're linked with the big clubs. But I'm really, really happy in Leverkusen and I want to go to the Champions League with Bayer 04. I love living in Germany," he told Bild.

"I'm not thinking about other clubs at all. Everyone knows my contract situation. And I would never cause problems for a club and push through a transfer," added Schick, who is under contract until 2025.

The former Roma striker got on the scoresheet in Leverkusen's 2-2 draw with Union Berlin yesterday, taking his league goal tally to 17 in 15 games this season.
