Leverkusen chief rules out selling Schick

Patrick Schick will not be leaving Bayer Leverkusen this summer, according to club boss Fernando Carro.

Bayer Leverkusen CEO Fernando Carro has underlined that Patrik Schick will not be sold this summer.

Having found the net 20 times in 20 Bundesliga games this season, Schick has been linked with a move away from Leverkusen.

Carro, however, has now put the speculation to rest by declaring that the 25-year-old Czech international is not for sale.

"No, we will not sell Patrik Schick. There is no need to talk about that at all," he told Sky Germany.

"We are very happy that he is with us, and we firmly count on him for the next few years."

Schick's contract expires in 2025.
