Official: Grillitsch to leave Hoffenheim

It's now official that Florian Grillitsch will leave Hoffenheim this summer.

TSG Hoffenheim have confirmed that Florian Grillitsch will depart the club at the end of the season.

With his contract expiring this summer, the Austrian international is set to leave the club as a free agent.

Hoffenheim director of football Alexander Rosen and managing director Frank Briel said goodbye to Grillitsch in front of the crowd ahead of today's Bundesliga match against Bayer Leverkusen.

Grillitsch, 26, has spent the last five years at Hoffenheim, making 151 appearances with eight goals and 11 assists to his name.

He has been linked with a move to Italy in particular.
