Kovac: 'We can be satisfied with our performance'

Bayern München coach Niko Kovac was satisfied with his team's performance despite the 2-3 defeat to Borussia Dortmund.
Bayern München were leading 1-0 and 2-1 during tonight's game against Borussia Dortmund at Signal Iduna Park, but ultimately lost 2-3.

Bayern coach Niko Kovac was obviously disappointed with the result, but praised his players for their performance.

"I think it was a fantastic game. We had the game in our hands in the first half while that was the case for Dortmund in the second half," Kovac told Sky after the game and added:

"We can be satisfied with our performance. It was our best performance since the Schalke game, and we have to build on that now."

The defeat means Borussia Dortmund are seven points ahead of Bayern, but Kovac remains optimistic.

"Seven points looks a lot, but in football, a lot is possible," he said.
