Nkunku to stay and sign a new deal with RB Leipzig

Leipziger Volkszeitung reports that RB Leipzig star Christopher Nkunku will stay and sign a contract extension.

According to Leipziger Volkszeitung's podcast 'Die Rückfallzieher', the highly-rated French international will extend his contract, which runs until 2024.
Per the Leipzig-based media outlet, Nkunku will be given a significant salary increase, and his new deal will include a release clause of €60 million, which will be active from the summer of 2023.
Nkunku is said to have attracted interest from numerous top clubs, including Real Madrid, Bayern München and Manchester United.
He has also been linked with a move back to Paris Saint-Germain, who he left to join RB Leipzig for €13 million in 2019.
