Kimmich: "We could have scored three goals or more today"

Joshua Kimmich was left to rue missed chances after Bayern Munich's 1-1 draw with Manchester City this evening.
Bayern Munich are out of the Champions League, as a 1-1 draw against Manchester City tonight meant they were eliminated from the quarter-finals on aggregate 4-1.

However, things could have been different if Bayern had been more clinical in front of goal before City's opener, according to Joshua Kimmich.

"It's really annoying that we didn't take the lead with all the chances we had," said Kimmich, who captained Bayern in the absence of Manuel Neuer, in an interview with DAZN.

"I would have liked to see how the game would have gone if we had been 1-0 up in the first half. If you look at the whole 180 minutes of this game, there were only 20 or 30 minutes where we didn't play well.

"I don't think we needed a miracle today. We could have scored three goals or more today."
